Footminders Orthotic Insole Size Guide

Adults, match the US shoe size you normally wear to the charts below. Children are sized by measured foot length, not by shoe size alone.

COMFORT and CASUAL Insoles

Both use the same size range, so the size you wear in one is the size you wear in the other. They differ in shape, not in fit.

COMFORT is full length, for sneakers, athletic shoes, and work boots. CASUAL is 3/4 length, for dress shoes, loafers, moccasins, and slip-ons where a full-length insole would crowd the toe box.

CATWALK Insoles

CATWALK is slim and flexible, for pumps, court shoes, and sandals or boots with low, medium, or high heels. An adhesive patch holds it in place, so it also works in open and strappy styles.

How to Measure a Foot

Diagram showing how to measure a child's foot length: both heels against the wall on a sheet of paper, a pencil marking the longest toe, and a ruler measuring from the wall edge to the mark.
  1. Put a sheet of paper on a hard floor against a wall.
  2. Stand on the paper with the heel touching the wall, weight even on both feet.
  3. Mark the paper at the tip of the longest toe.
  4. Measure from the wall edge of the paper to the mark, in inches or centimeters.
  5. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

For children, match that measurement to the Foot Length column above, or let the size finder do it. For adults, order the insole size that matches your usual US shoe size.

Sizing Questions

What size Footminders insole should I order?

Adults order by the US shoe size they normally wear. COMFORT and CASUAL share one range, from X-SMALL to X-LARGE. CATWALK runs X-SMALL to MEDIUM in women's sizes only. Use the charts above to match your size.

What size Footminders KIDS insole does my child need?

Measure the longer foot with your child standing. SK fits a foot length of 6.5 to 7.4 inches (16.5 to 18.8 cm), which is US kids' shoe sizes 10 to 12.5. K fits 7.5 to 8.4 inches (19.1 to 21.3 cm), US kids' shoe sizes 13 to 2.5Y. Above 8.4 inches, move to Footminders COMFORT or CASUAL in X-SMALL.

What if I am between two insole sizes?

Choose the larger size. Footminders COMFORT is full length and can be trimmed at the toe for a precise fit in your shoe.

Can I use the same size in COMFORT and CASUAL?

Yes. The two products use the same size range, so the size you wear in one is the size you wear in the other. Pick the product that suits the shoe: COMFORT for sneakers and work boots, CASUAL for dress shoes and slip-ons.
